If you’re new here, I’m Mary Margaret — a Tennessee-based wedding photographer serving Nashville, Murfreesboro, and surrounding areas. I specialize in timeless, candid wedding photography for couples who want to feel present on their wedding day while still walking away with beautiful, classic images they’ll treasure for years.

Why I Started This Blog


I created this blog as a resource for couples who want more than just pretty photos. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming, and my hope is that this space becomes a place where you feel supported, informed, and inspired.

My Approach to Wedding Photography

My approach is rooted in calm, intentional planning. I believe the best wedding photos happen when couples feel relaxed, supported, and free to be themselves.


On your wedding day, I’m both a guide and a quiet observer. I’ll step in when direction is needed — helping with timelines, portraits, and gentle posing — and fade into the background when moments unfold naturally. The result is a gallery that feels honest, emotional, and timeless.


I also work closely with my couples before the wedding day, from engagement sessions to timeline planning, so that nothing feels rushed or uncomfortable when it matters most.
